A while back I did a video demonstrating some of my angle raising techniques for the Metal Arts Society of Southern California (MASSC). I thought I’d share it here at this point. This gives a basic overview of how I go about raising, but as I note in the video itself, it’s not nearly as extensive in details as I am during one of my raising workshops. Still it might help some learn the process, or provide a nice review for those who have taken one of my raising classes.
I’m going to embed the version from my Odysee Channel here. I have a few other videos up there should you be interested. I do now also have this on my YouTube Channel should you want to watch it there.
Oh, I also want to give a huge thanks to MASSC for doing the editing work on this! I sent them a bunch of raw footage that hopefully had some basic sense of order which they trimmed down, brought together, and added music to.
In the video I reference links to various things. Here are those links:
What kind of torch do I use?
My set of raising stakes and how I mount them?
If I have any sets of stakes for sale they will be available here. (Note, in the Q&A portion I talk about a sale price on these. Sorry but that was only for the MASSC folks when this was first presented during their Demo Day event. That offer is long since expired.)
The post with more info about my raising hammers. (This post includes a link to Saign Charlestein’s website where you can purchase one if you are so inclined. The post also has a discount code Saign has provided for my readers you can use at his site!)
