Layered Resplendence #38

Description

Layered Resplendence #38, a collaborative work by David Huang and David Barnhill. It was created using a fused and patterned metal technique known as mokume gane. Then it was raised from a flat sheet up into the vessel form and further embellished with chasing techniques. The materials are copper 110/copper 101/nickel 752/brass 230/brass 260 mokume gane, fine silver, and 23-karat gold leaf. The approximate size is 4.25″ x 4.5″ x 4.5″.
