Layered Resplendence 40

Description

Layered Resplendence #40, a collaborative work by David Huang and David Barnhill. It was created using a fused and patterned metal technique known as mokume gane. Then it was raised from a flat sheet up into the vessel form and further embellished with chasing techniques. The materials are copper/nickel mokume gane, sterling silver, and 23-karat gold leaf. The approximate size is 4.5″ x 4″ x 4″.
