A storm door

Other than more exterior landscaping I believe this is the final bit of construction, adding a storm door. My hope is that this will help keep even more heat inside. I know one of the coldest interior sections the past two winters has been the door. It seems to be better now that I have the storm door on, but then the cold weather hasn't really hit yet. It was a bit tricky getting this on. Storm doors are sized to fit the standard molding around standard sized doors. The two I installed on the trailer this fall went on real easy. Here, however, I had a standard size 36" door, but not the regular molding. In the end I special ordered a 34" storm door and had to do some blocking and space adjustment with extra molding to get it to fit the opening. In the end though it seals pretty well.
