14 Piece Chasing Tool Set

For the vessel chasing workshops I teach I found it helpful to have a minimal set of chasing tools made for students to use. This way we didn't have to spend half the workshop first making tools. I selected 14 tools from among the ones I've made for myself to make up this set. The aim was to have a small set that was still quite versatile for doing many sorts of chasing designs.

Because my work and my workshops are geared toward chasing on vessel forms these tools are better suited for chasing (working from the front). They are not necessarily good for repousse (working from the back).

Since there has been a fair amount of interest in these tools beyond just my workshop attendees I'm posting them here on my website and will make them available to sale assuming I have them in stock. If you are interested in only a few of them and not the whole set I should be able to do that too. Individual prices vary based on tool stock size. 5/16 inch stock tools are $25 each. 1/4 inch stock tools are $20 each. 1/8 inch stock tools are $10 each.

I need to update this section at some point, but thought I should say that I've changed the set some so it's now 15 tools ($260 for the full set), with one new tool added and some minor changes in a few others. I'm not really into tool production but will sell any extra sets I have on hand. Please email me if you are interested.
