Figurative Lidded Vessels

Figurative work by David Huang. Occasionally I like to really challenge my technical abilities by raising and chasing the human figure. Many people mistake these works for being ceramic or cast metal. They are neither. These are all created from flat sheets of copper hammered into these forms just like my other vessels. The only difference is the degree to which I push the metal. These works are a challenge to say the least!
